A scenic sunset at the Mediterranean, near Cassis, Provence
Photographed at the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval, located in the Haute-Savoie, French Alps. Is an immense corrie of two kilometres in diameter delimited by imposing limestone cliffs from which spring many waterfalls. There are about 30, that one can admire in spring when the snow melts. The Fer-à-Cheval is part of a nature reserve, and it is not uncommon to discover, clinging to the vertiginous cliffs, several ibexes, as well as marmots that warm themselves in the sun down in the valley. Pic de Tenneverge (2989 m - 10,000 ft) and Tour du Prazon (2929 m - 10,000 ft) dominates the hiker during the greater part of the itinerary.
Mountain lake in the Haute-Alpes, High Alps, located at 2000 meters (6500 ft), above the tree line. The area offers impressive views of the surrounding mountain peaks, and also wildlife is not excluded. Find marmots sun bading, vultures, royal eagles, and many more. In Spring also many gorgeous wildflowers can be found, such as the rare and protected Edelweiss.
