Image taken in Allemond, a town in the French Isère, located in the heart of the Oisans, in the Eau d'Olle valley. The village of about 1000 inhabitants lies at the foot of the Belledonne, just across the Grandes Rousses massif which one has a magnificent view. Created in the Middle Ages, the village was once turned to agriculture and livestock. After extensive mining activity, it is now focused entirely on tourism, winter and summer. On Lake Verney, Allemond offers a natural and enchanting visitors in search of outdoor activities.
